The entire 6.3 in (160 mm) face is the source — not a ring, and not a point emitter waiting for a softbox. You begin with a larger, more coherent field of light, so there are fewer loose modifiers, less assembly, and more freedom to place the source where the image needs it.

WHITE LIGHT CONTROL
The Standard Kit moves continuously from 2700K to 6500K. The Harlowe X Adele Chan Spectra Creator Kit extends that range to 1700–10000K and adds RGBCW colour with 36,000 colours and HSI adjustment. CRI 96 and TLCI 96 keep skin tones, wardrobe and objects dependable across stills and motion.
Colour is not a menu. It is narrative.
RGBCW COLOUR — SPECTRA CREATOR KIT
Use colour to establish distance, tension, memory or atmosphere — not simply to prove that the LEDs can change hue. White light and colour belong to the same visual language, ready in one compact source. RGBCW colour is available on the Spectra Creator Kit.

DIRECT CONTROL
Two tactile dials put colour temperature and brightness at hand: rotate for continuous control, press for presets, or press both to lock the settings. The integrated display keeps each decision visible, and Bluetooth connection to the Harlowe App lets you refine the light from behind the camera. On the Spectra Creator Kit, one long press of the LM knob opens Life Mode with Relax and Sleep presets.

Is Sol 30W only an on-camera light?
No. The bottom cold shoe makes camera-top fill easy, but the 1/4-inch thread on the rotatable bracket fits light stands and tabletop tripods, and the slim body is comfortable hand-held. Most users move it between all three during a single shoot.
Why does the full 160 mm surface matter?
The entire face is the source, so the light is already diffused when it comes out of the pouch. A ring light leaves a recognisable circular catchlight, and a small LED panel needs a softbox before it flatters a face. Sol 30W skips that step.
What does the Adele Chan Edition add?
A wider white range (1700–10,000K instead of 2700–6500K), RGBCW colour with 36,000 colours and HSI control, Life Mode, the copper and deep pine green finish, and the signature round carrying bag.
How long does the battery last?
50 minutes at full brightness, up to 9 hours 10 minutes at 10%. For long interviews and continuous studio work, run the light from the included power adapter.
Is it safe for extended use close to the face?
Yes. The tested output is classified RG0 (Exempt Group) — the lowest photobiological risk group under the applicable test conditions, including blue-light hazard assessment — with flicker-free output.
