SOL 100 is a portable 100W round LED panel for photography and video. Its side-emitting optical system and 13.78-inch illuminated surface create broad, soft direct light without requiring a separate softbox. It is designed for portraits, interviews, podcasts, product work and compact location setups.

Does SOL 100 need a softbox?+
No. SOL 100 was designed to produce a broad, soft direct source without a conventional softbox. A larger modifier can still be useful when you want a substantially larger apparent source or a different effect.
Is SOL 100 really designed for travel?+
Yes. At only 1.57 inches deep, it packs much flatter than a conventional fixture-plus-softbox system. The Travel Kit also adds the Harlowe 99.36Wh Max Battery Pack.
What is the difference between Bi-Color and Spectra?+
Bi-Color provides adjustable white light from 2700K to 6500K. Spectra expands the range to 1700K–10000K and adds five-channel RGBCW color control.
Can SOL replace every softbox?+
No—and it should not claim to. SOL gives you soft, usable direct light in a remarkably compact form when speed, space and portability matter. A very large modifier remains a different creative tool.
