The reason to choose Spectra

Colour should expand the shot — not complicate the light.

Max Spectra brings deliberate colour control into the same refined, portable system creators already understand. Use accurate white light when the scene calls for it. Reach for colour when the image needs a stronger point of view.

Build the atmosphere in-camera

Move from natural white light to deliberate colour without changing your core Max workflow.

02

Shape skin and background separately

Use colour as a precise creative decision — not as a compromise added after the shoot.

Turn one location into many looks

Create contrast, separation and visual identity with a light designed for both colour and white-light work.

Designed differently

Five channels. Five drivers. One coherent light engine.

Red, green, blue, cool white and warm white channels are independently driven so the light can mix a wide colour and CCT range with intentional control. It is an engineering foundation built for creators who care about both the result and the workflow.

Architecture is only the beginning. Harlowe is preparing channel-level output and colour-quality evidence so performance can be evaluated from measurements — not adjectives.

Questions, answered

Before you choose.

What does the five-channel RGBCW architecture mean?

Max Spectra uses five independently driven LED channels — red, green, blue, cool white and warm white — to create colour and tunable white light. This page describes the architecture; channel-level output measurements should be evaluated using Harlowe's published test data when available.

Can I use my existing Max modifiers?

Max Spectra is designed around the Max ecosystem and works with compatible Max accessories and light-shaping tools. Check the exact accessory model before purchasing if you own an earlier-generation Max product.

Which output should I choose?

Choose 40W for maximum mobility and close-range work, 80W for the most versatile everyday balance, and 120W when you need more reach, larger modifiers or brighter ambient conditions.

What is the difference between Creator Kit and Magic Kit?

Both kits include the core light, primary optic, shaping accessories, handle, battery and power accessories. The Magic Kit adds the Harlowe Magic Lens for a more expressive optical effect.

Can Max Spectra run on battery and AC power?

Yes. The system supports AC and DC inputs and includes a 99.36Wh IP65-rated battery for portable use.
