MY JOURNEY
Breana Mazzagatte is a film photographer based in Los Angeles. Her journey into photography began as a hobby, capturing moments of her daughter and their life together. During the 2020 pandemic, she expanded her work by taking portraits of friends who visited her yard. In 2022, she launched her first photo series, "Bleed For Me," which gained recognition and led to her work being published in magazines such as Monster Children, August, and Coveteur. Breana's favorite Harlowe light is the Pro, which she uses for nearly every portrait she shoots.
Why Harlowe?
Harlowe lights help me set the tone of my studio. It’s important to create an environment that feels present, connected, and romanticized. When you have to fumble with gear, lighting, technology, etc., you run the risk of taking the room out of the moment. You remind the subject that they are onstage. I need a light that delivers in its design and functionality, and for me, that’s the Harlowe pro light.
