Content creator lighting by how you create

YouTube, interviews and talking-head videos

For a clean, flattering key light on faces, start with a soft source. Sol 30W has a 6.3 in emitting surface that arrives already diffused, so it moves from pouch to camera or stand without building a softbox. Mini II 20W covers photo and video in a compact studio kit.

Phone content for Reels, TikTok and Shorts

Sol 5 Bi-Color attaches magnetically to your phone and reaches up to 520 lumens in Boost Mode for dim cafés, hotel rooms and cars. Sol 5 Spectra adds RGBCW color and app control.

Vlogging and travel

Atom 2W is built for DJI Pocket 3, GoPro and Insta360 cameras. Omni 360° 2W wraps the scene in soft 360° fill for action and 360° cameras. When you need more output on location, Max Air 40W brings a 40W COB light with a slim detachable battery.

Color, accents and backgrounds

Add depth and mood behind you with RGB light. Micro 8W Spectra and Iris 5W Spectra are palm-sized RGBCW lights with CRI/TLCI ≥96; Blade 5 is a tube light for edges and backgrounds.

Tabletop and product content

Mini II-X 20W Creator Kit includes a desktop tripod, barn doors and cold shoe adapter, with a focusable 15–45° beam for product detail and close-camera fill.

How to choose a content creator lighting kit

Soft vs. hard light: faces look best with a large, diffused source; small lights are better for accents and backgrounds.
Color accuracy: look for CRI/TLCI 96 or higher so skin tones and products stay true without heavy color correction.
Power and portability: built-in batteries and magnetic or cold shoe mounts let you set up in seconds, at home or on location.
Control: app or on-light control for brightness and color temperature keeps your look consistent from video to video.

Content creator lighting FAQ

What is the best lighting for content creators?

A soft key light for your face, plus a small accent or background light. Start with one soft light such as Sol 30W or Mini II, then add an RGB light for depth.

What lighting do influencers use?

Most use a mix of a soft main light and compact on-camera or phone lights for filming on the go, such as Sol 5 for phone content and Atom 2W for vlogging cameras.

How do I set up lighting for content creation?

Place your main light slightly above eye level and about 45° to one side, add a fill or reflector on the other side if shadows are too strong, and use a background light to separate you from the wall.

Do I need a full lighting kit to start?

No. One good soft light makes the biggest difference. Add lights as your content grows.
