1. The PRO has 2 voltage input sources, the standard 16V input （which most batteries in the market use） and the 48V input (plug-in AC source).

2. The PRO uses 300W of power, so each battery would output a maximum of 120W, and 2 batteries would
equal 240W. 240W is 80% of 300W, hence the limit.

3. Why can 2 batteries only output 120W each while the power supply can supply the
whole 300W? It's because the current max for the connectors are rated at 10A, so at 12V and 10A for the battery, the output is maxed out at 120W. While the power supply operates at 48V, which only needs around 6.25A to reach 300W.

The Mini uses a lithium-ion, Internal battery that lasts one hour at 100%. As of right now, the battery is not replaceable. However, we’re working on a solution for a factory replacement service at a reduced cost.

Yes, all of our lights can be powered with DC batteries. Our Mini light has an internal battery, but it can be extended by using a battery bank or our own high-current V-Mount DC battery. Our Avant light uses a cable with a D-tap connector for quick change from the Avant power supply to the Hobolite DC Battery. It is also compatible with any D-tap battery that can supply enough current- whether V-Mount or Gold-Mount. The Pro can be powered by two Hobolite DC Batteries, and is compatible with all V-Mount batteries.

The Avant and the Mini are compatible with many of the same accessories such as the handle, and adapters. All models are compatible with the Hobolite DC batteries. Each light model has their own light modifiers that are specially designed to optimize the light output of each model.

Mini – the Mini is simply too mini to make use of full-size light modifiers. We have a line of optimized modifiers designed to work with the Mini.

Avant – With the use of the optional Bowens Mount Adapt full-sized sized light modifiers can be used with the Avant. However, recommended using Avant-specific modifiers as they are optimized for the Avant.

Pro – Comes with an industry-standard Bowens mount, and is compatible with 3rd party modifiers.
